All donations go directly to support Artangel’s work. In recognition of this, Company of Angels receive:
- A signed, limited edition memento made by an artist Artangel has worked with
- Invitation to the Angels Gathering when the year’s programme is announced
- Invitations to all Artangel project previews, premieres and launch parties
- Complimentary tickets to ticketed projects and performances
- Access to trips in the UK and abroad to see Artangel’s work (extra cost)
- Quarterly Angels e-newsletter featuring special updates and programme highlights
- Credit on Artangel website
The payment for benefits is £90 per year including VAT and £660+ / £910+ is a further discretionary donation not connected with the benefits.
Guardian Angels
£2,500+ including VAT for one year's membership or £166.70+ pm / £2,000+ pa with Direct Debit
Guardian Angels take part in a model of collective philanthropy, coming together to support one new Artangel commission each year. Your donation directly enables this ambitious work - known as the Guardian Angel commission. In recognition of this vital support, Guardian Angels have:
- A voice in choosing which commission your support will make possible
- Special access to the Guardian Angel commission as it develops (such as studio visits, and access to film shoots and other behind the scenes activity)
- An invitation for you and a guest to the opening dinner for the Guardian Angel commission
- All Company of Angels benefits, including a limited edition artist memento, invitations to all our project previews, our quarterly Angels newsletter and acknowledgement on the Artangel website.
The payment for benefits is £130 per year including VAT and £1,870+ / £2,370+ is a further discretionary donation not connected with the benefits.
The generosity and belief of our Special Angels sustains Artangel’s ambitious and risk taking approach - helping artists realise seminal new work that could not exist without your support. In recognition of this, Special Angels receive:
- Special invitation to the annual Artists’ Event, an evening of conversation and celebration with today’s leading contemporary artists, poets, writers, musicians, designers, and curators
- Invitations to intimate events and dinners with artists and behind-the-scenes visits to studios and private collections
- Signed copies of Artangel publications and catalogues
- Acknowledgement of your support in all of Artangel’s printed material and online
- All Company of Angels benefits, including a limited edition artist memento, invitations to all our project previews, invitation to the Angels Gathering, our quarterly Angels newsletter and acknowledgement on the Artangel website.
The payment for benefits is £270 per year including VAT and £4,730+ is a further discretionary donation not connected with the benefits.
Shaped around the vision of artists, this invited group of committed collectors, benefactors and philanthropists based anywhere in the world, come together to support some of our most ambitious projects.
Artangel’s approach to commissioning has initiated a number of permanent works outside the UK and since 2005, the International Circle have been directly involved in the realisation of:

International Circle members make a long-term commitment at a substantial level of support, enabling our work with international artists in the UK and beyond.
The Host of Angels are a group of like-minded companies that share a belief in the importance of commissioning artists to make ambitious new work. You can support Artangel, whilst highlighting your work to new audiences and giving something back to your team.
As a Host of Angels partner your company or organisation receives:
- Credit for your company on the Artangel website
- Opportunities to “host” Artangel supporters and audiences in your spaces and programmes
- Opportunities to highlight your work in our quarterly Angels Newsletter
- Nominate three members of your team to become Company of Angels, including a limited edition artist memento, invitations to all our project previews, and invitations to the annual Angels Gathering.
Membership starts from £2,250 for three annual memberships to the Company of Angels.
Donations can be made in US dollars tax-effectively to Artangel via Artangel America which is registered in New York State with 501(c)3 status. Artangel America funds work by American artists in addition to the presentation of work by international artists in the United States. Artangel America has a Board of Trustees based in New York.
